Family and friends will remember Arline's fashion sense, quick humor, and how she could have taught Martha Stewart a thing or two about cooking, sewing, knitting, painting and woodworking. She knew all the birds and flowers, and loved spending time at the family's Cape Cod house. Dolls and teddy bears she made are treasured by her children and others she loved.

Arline enjoyed the fellowship of the Telephone Pioneers and was an active long-time member of Fairlawn Methodist Church and later, Lake View Congregational Church.

Arline's family is grateful to the wonderful, caring staff of Autumn Village.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Lake View Congregational Church, 115 Coburn Ave., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. The family encourages contributions in Arline's memory to a charity of the donor's choice in lieu of flowers. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester is directing arrangements.
