Lena A Frakes, 74, of Bethany, was found dead at her home Thursday, Aug 18, 1983. The body was cremated and graveside memorial services were held Saturday, Aug 27, at the Cain Cemetery, east of Cainsville, with the Rev Bob Meinecke officiating.
Mrs Frakes was born July 16, 1909, in the state of Missouri, a daughter of Lewis and Rosa Overton Meinecke. She was the widow of Jerry Frakes. Mrs Frakes had also lived inthe Cainsville-Mt Moriah area and in Covina, Calif. She was a rretired supervisor of the credit department for the May Co. Department Store.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Johnson ad Leona Woodward, both of Cainsville; and one granddaughter, Jackie Curtis, state of Oklahoma.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs Frakes was preceded in death by her son, Jack Curtis.
