Born September 28, 1964, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Donald Eugene Brown Sr. and Velma Ruth Tickemyer Brown. He lived in Marshall most of his life and attended Malta Bend School and Marshall High School. He served in the Missouri Army National Guard for six years. He worked as a mechanic/shag truck driver working for 4T Truck Stop for 20 years, then worked for Ruan, Eidson-Ussery Trucking, Morgan Diesel and Core Slab. George was a hard worker and worked up until six weeks before becoming ill. He was a great provider, great dad, brother and friend. George was a member of Marshall Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his partner, Deborah Cauthon of the home; children, Justin Brown of Springfield, MO, Jeremy Brown, Dana Evans, Daniel Frame Jr. of Marshall, David Frame of Blue Springs, Richard Frame and Kirstin Cauthon of Marshall, Dakota Maness of Boonville, MO and Andrea Bays of the home; four siblings, Michael Blackenter (Lisa) and Donald Brown Jr. of Marshall, Linda Grande (Pedro) of rural Nelson, MO and Ruth Soto (Steven) of rural Marshall; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by one brother, James Donald Blackenter
