The Vernon native was an employee of the Kentucky Department of Transportation, a Church of Christ member and a World War II veteran. He was a son of the late Creed and Dolly Anderson and the husband of the late Allene Webb Anderson. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Carson Anderson, Morris Dale Anderson, Billy Tim Anderson, William Hiram Anderson and Leroy Anderson; and four sisters, Della Sprowl, Helen Johnson, Alice Mae Thompson and Mary Jane Anderson.
Survivors include a stepson, Randy Webb and his wife, Linda, of Bowling Green; two stepdaughters, Patricia Elmore and her husband, Jerry, of Springfield, Mo., and Cheryl Jackson and her husband, Jerry, of Benton; two sisters, Delpha Willis of Beaver Dam and Katherine Bowman of Tompkinsville; and several stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside service were at Bailey Cemetery in Monroe County.
