Drucy E. Aragón, was born on March 23, 1946.
Drucy went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2023.
Drucy was a lifelong resident of Cuba, NM.
Drucy graduated from Cuba High School, married the love of her life there, and was the best-babysitter in town for 30+ years. Along with baby-sitting, Drucy was a well-known cook, cake baker/decorator and party thrower.
Drucy was preceded in death by her parents, Lupe and Clory Chávez, brother, Frank Chávez and nephews Jonathan-James Chávez, Raúl Santillanes and Larry Espey.
Drucy is survived by her husband, Flaviano Aragón, son, Ruben Aragón, bonus daughter, Dallas Schmidt, sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Herman Santillanes, niece, Sharon Salaz (Mariano), great nieces, Janelle Casaus (Levi Jr.), Dyan Chávez and Justine Delgadillo (Danny), four great-great-nephews, Johnathan, Malakai, Ezekiel and Ryan and countless other family members and friends.
Drucy had the best sense of humor, quick wit and the kindest heart.
Drucy will be deeply missed, and forever hold a special place in any heart she ever touched.

Drucy was a member of the Cuba Presbyterian Church.
Per her request, a Celebration of Life will be held there on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Cuba Immaculate Conception Parish Hall.
