Julia was born in Union Town, Marion, Illinois.
She was the eldest of seven children. Born to Carlie and Ina (Meador) Wolfe.
She married first to Denton Holloway on 3 Apr 1937 at the age of 16 in Marion, IL.
One daughter was born or this union.
Julia and Denton divorced in 1943 and she moved to Ogden,UT.

While in Utah she met her second husband Gene Wentland. They were married in the early 1950's.
One son was born of this union.
Julia and Gene later divorced.

She was owner and operator of Julia's Beauty Salon.
She later met Vernon Martin "Corky" Hammon.
They were married and resided in Montebello, CA for many years.
Moving to Mira Loma, Riverside, CA a few years before she died.
She was a very kind and generous lady who would give of her heart freely. She was the pied piper of children and all the children loved her.
She loved red roses, her Parakeets and her dogs. She was very creative and made beautiful plant hangers.
She was dearly loved and is missed. Her passing left a large hole in our family that will never be filled.
