Services for Mattie P. Hogan, 86, were held Monday, Mar. 11, 1991, in a Wilson funeral home chapel, with interment following in Hewitt Cemetery. Born Feb. 6, 1905 in Athens Co., AL to the late Mary Anderson and William Crabb, she came with her family to Quannah, Tx., in 1906, then to Okla. coming to the Wilson area in 1925. She was married to Eugene (Gene) D, Hogan in 1937 in Ardmore. Except for the years spent in Calif. during World War II, they have lived in Wilson. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Bowlegs. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Elma Thomas, Lula Crabb, Lela Hurst, Myrtle Lemmons and Lucille Crabb; and three brothers, Walter, Fred and Wilmer Crabb. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a brother, Luther Crabb, Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. Bearers were nephews and great nephews.
