Annie Ruth Costley Hewett, age 98, of Riverdale, Georgia passed away May 7, 2007 at Sunbridge Nursing Center. She was the daughter of the late James and Lula Bartlett Costley. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Grove Christian Church in Fairplay.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Monroe Hewett; son and daughter-in-law, Horace and Imogene Hewett.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Evelyn Hewett of Dallas; daughter, Doris Minchew of Forest Park; sister, Irma Jones of Douglasville; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. from Couch-Garner & Cole Funeral Home with Brother Dewayne Hewett officiating.
The interment followed in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Winston.
Couch-Garner & Cole Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
