Anna Margaret Critcher Calcutt passed away on April 4, 2023.
Anna Margaret was born on July 17, 1935 in Summerton, SC, the daughter of Aletha and Jacob Critcher. She graduated from McClenaghan High School in Florence, SC. She married Sumter E. "Bunny" Calcutt on the first day of spring in 1959, and they were married until his death last May.
In addition to her parents, her brother, James "Jimmy" Critcher, precedes her in death.
Anna Margaret was devoted to Christ and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Pamplico for many years. She and Bunny moved to Pendleton, SC and were members of First Baptist Church. Margaret and Bunny enjoyed working in the yard together. Margaret was artistic and many of her handiwork pieces are favorites. She married into Clemson family and was one of the most ardent of fans!
"Grandma Annie" was devoted to her family. She is survived by her daughters Angela (Bubba) Withington, Melissa Hamilton, and Sheila (Dennis) Calvert; granddaughters Tara (Bruce) Householder, Molly Withington, Tiffany Hamilton, Courtney Calvert and Claire Calvert; and two grandsons Tucker Calvert and Cal Withington; her brother Charles Critcher and his wife Bobbie and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at First Baptist Church of Pendleton Cemetery.
