Liam P. Clampett, 45, of Brookhaven, NY, passed away on April 3, 2023. Born and raised in Sayville, Liam graduated from Sayville High School. He went on to attend McAllister Institute for Mortuary Science in Manhattan and became a licensed funeral director. Liam worked for nearly 25 years with the Long Island Railroad. He was also an active member and a eucharistic minister at Mary Immaculate RC Church in Brookhaven. Liam is survived by his four siblings, Tara, Meggin Bennett and her husband Mike, Erin Unger and her husband John and John and his wife Jennifer, all of Sayville, as well as his nieces and nephews, Grace, Maggie, Jake, Colin, Sean, Lilly and Johnny, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and relatives will gather on Friday, April 7th, 4-8 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. A church service will be held on Saturday, April 8th at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church, Sayville. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Brookhaven. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Liam's memory to Brookhaven Animal Shelter, 300 Horseblock Road, Brookhaven, New York 11719, are appreciated.
