Born to parents John Henry Dingee and Mary Stewart he married Helen Roberts Massey October 21, 1891 and had the following children: John Henry, Alexander Loxley, and Marilyn. The May 14, 1913 West Chester Star listed his intrests as President of the Laymens Evangelical Association of the Presbytry of Paoli, President of the Paoli Town Association, President of the Tredyffrin School Board and trustree of the Presbyterian Church in Paoli.
