Mrs. Willodean Hutchens Walker, age 87, of the Lynn Grove Community of Murray, Kentucky, died June 9, 2012, at her daughters home.
She was retired from Murray State University Food Service; she was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She was born in Lynn Grove, Kentucky on June 1, 1925 to the late John Riley and Dona Ford Hutchens; in addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband James E. Walker who died on September 22, 1979; three sisters, Nancy Sheeley, Susie Robinson, and Lucy B. Smith; two brothers, W.C. Hutchens and John J. Hutchens.
She is survived by two daughters, Kaye Key and husband Jimmy of Puryear, Tennessee and Alesa Walker of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Danny Walker and wife Judy of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Karnell Clouser of Clarksville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Kevin Key and wife Laurie of Puryear, Tennessee, Chris Walker and wife Sandy of Murray, Kentucky, Danita Attaway and husband Allen of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Jeremy Key and wife Becky of Puryear, Tennessee; five great grandchildren, Courtney Walker Schnieders and husband Tyler of Lexington, Kentucky, Chase Walker of Murray, Kentucky, Danielle Harris of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Kayden Key of Puryear, Tennessee and Zach Cunningham of Murray, Kentucky; ten nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro John Sheppard and Bro Phillip Bazzell will officiate with burial to follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
