She was born on February 29, 1924, in Glenwood, the daughter of Willis Marlin Caldwell and Myrtle Mae Nash Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her husband and partner of sixty-six years, Claborn Lee Roy Diggs; her parents; four brothers, Julius Woodrow Caldwell 1916-1997, Orville E. Caldwell, Cecil Caldwell 1922-1993 and Boyd Caldwell 1922-? (twin of Cecil); and one sister, Lois B. Caldwell Haley 1915-?.
Lee Roy and Eunice had married on October 21, 1939 in Montgomery, Arkansas.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and she enjoyed visiting and spending time every week with her daughter's bowling team "Classi Lassies".
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; one granddaughter; one grandson; two great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Hubert Caldwell; one sister, Faye McNabb; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
