pg. 82, It's a Long Way from Stone Henge to Angels Camp or Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch, by Ron Pyle [Ronald John Pyle, b. 20 Jul 1936, d. 24 Jun 2004]:
"Robert and Martha Malone Pyle had two sons before leaving [Ross Co.] Ohio and six others after they settled in Eugene, Indiana. Aunt Frances married Wilson R. Bratton in 1855 and her sister Mary married Benjamin Bentley before leaving Vermillion County. Martha Pyle married Albert Smith in 1861 and sister, Mariah, married Mark Jones in 1867. Both of these events [last two marriages] occurred in Georgetown, [Williamson Co.,] Texas."
"Martha's husband, Albert Smith, was the administrator of Robert and Martha's estates and sent William his share in 1867. According to records from Georgetown, Robert and Martha's probate was August 28, 1865 and that they were buried in Williamson County. Burial records indicate they were buried in Taylor, Texas, and Texas history tells us that Taylor was not incorporated until 1871."
