Wayne R. Stultz, Jr.
DOVER - Wayne R. Stultz, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, on September 28, 1941, he was the oldest of seven children of the late Betty Bachman Stultz and Wayne Stultz, Sr. Wayne was an accountant and auditor with the State of Delaware and used his extensive experience to support organizations by serving as a member of the Dover Rotary Club, the Del-One Federal Credit Union and the "Operation We Care" volunteer surgical team. After graduating from Dover High School, Wayne joined the United States Navy where he served as Navigator aboard three different ships and as a Navy Seal. After his active duty in the Navy, he joined the United States Navy Reserves from which he retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He was recalled to active duty for one year during Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991. Wayne earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Wesley College and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Delaware State College (now University).
Wayne is survived by his wife, Connie Stultz, of Dover, son Sean Stultz of Dover, daughter Tracey Green (John) of Nashville, Tennessee, five grandchildren, Desiree Klein (Matt) of Dover, Taylor Reid (James) of Nashville, Tennessee, Rebecca Stultz of Dover, Robert Stultz of Dover and Rachelle Demons of Florida, and two great-grandchildren, Amara Klein of Dover and Tristan Klein of Dover and his brother, James Stultz of Florida.
Funeral Services will be held on April 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Trader Funeral Home on Lotus Street, Dover, Delaware, at which time Friends and Family may share their memories of Wayne. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. Letters of condolences may be sent to http://www.traderfh.com
