Christopher G. Lewinski, 71, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Chris was born December 9, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Rudy and Cleta (Dowe) Lewinski. He attended Whitmer High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On October 21, 1972, Chris married Charlene Jaquillard. Chris was an accomplished carpenter and craftsman; working alongside his family and friends for over fifty years. He enjoyed shooting pool, camping with his family, cheering on the Detroit Tigers, and gazing at stars in the night sky. Chris will be fondly remembered by his family for his sarcastic sense of humor.

Chris is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene; children, Vince (Paula) Lewinski and Kristy (Paul) Stevenson; grandchildren, Kaylee (Kenny) Ewing, Jessica Lewinski, Vinnie Lewinski, Chrislyn (Brendan) Wacasey, Michelle Stevenson, Nicole (Emilio) Estrada, and Clayton Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Noah, Kaedence, Rilee, Leon, Nikolai, Adalai, Daisy, Willow, Carlos, and Ember; siblings, Mike Lewinski, Linda Lewinski, John (Linda) Lewinski, Ed (Joann) Lewinski, Jeff (Allie) Lewinski, and Carol (Tim) Kasten; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathy Cole; and grandson, Paul Stevenson III.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service & military honors at 6:00 pm
