KILGORE - Graveside services for Mavor Baton Bickley, 100, Kilgore, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Pirtle Cemetery with the Rev. Dudley Plaisance officiating. Arrangements under direction of Rader Funeral Home, Kilgore. Mrs. Bickley died March 6, 2008, in Kilgore. She was born October 3, 1907, in Rusk County to the late Hosea and Octavia Higganbotham Baton. She attended Baton community and Kilgore schools. She was a loving homemaker and longtime member of Pirtle Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Russell Bickley. Survivors include daughters, Clemmie Richards, Kilgore, and Shirley Dimmock, Jasper; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one niece. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to Pirtle Methodist Church; or a charity of choice.
