Mrs. Claudie L. Fergerson of Quinlan passed away in a Terrell hospital early Sunday morning March 26, 1956. Funeral services were held this afternoon Mar. 26, 1956, at 2:30 o'clock in the Quinlan Methodist church with the Rev. L.A. Allgood of Quinlan officiating assisted by the Dr. Ozrow Kimberly of Quinlan. Interment was in the 100 F Cemetery in Quinlan under the direction of the Royse City Funeral Home. A native Texan, Mrs. Fergerson was born Dec. 20, 1887 and was married to J.R. Fergerson on Nov. 11, 1911. She had made her home in Quinlan the past 26 years, and became a member of the Baptist church in 1900. Surviving are her husband of Quinlan; one son C.C. Fergerson of Las Cruces, N.M., two daughters, Miss Pauline Fergerson of Quinlan and Mrs. Roy Calender of Terrell; three grandchildren, and her mother, Mrs. Christine Price of Quinlan.
