Mrs. Minte Mae Cotton, 2412 Clark, died about 6 a.m. today in the Labette County Medical Center at the age of 64. She had been in failing health for a year and entered the hospital on July 26.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1908, in Marshall, Ark., the daughter of Margarette Elizabeth Young and James Franklin Treat.
She and Francis D. Cotton were married on Nov. 2, 1925 in Hominy, Okla. He died on May 8, 1948
Mrs. Cotton came to Parsons in 1959 from Coffeyville where she had lived several years.
She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Parsons.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bobby Moreno of Parsons, Mrs. Lenora Lochner of Coffeyville and Mrs. Mary Bowin of McGregor, Iowa; two brothers, Columbus Treat of Marshall, Ark. and John Treat of Little Rock Ark.; and 12 grandchildren.
Two sons, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Arrangements for services are pending with the Demuth Funeral Home.

Services for Mrs. Minte Mae Cotton, who died Wednesday in the Labette County Medical Center, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Assembly of God Church with burial in Elmwood cemetery in Coffeyville. The Rev. Thomas H. Botslord will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 o'clock tonight at the Demuth Funeral Home.
