Amelia "Millie" Kronbach Martin was born in Erie, Michigan. She was the daughter of Adam George Kronbach and Sophie Frankhouse Kronbach. She attended School in Erie and worked at Morosses store in Erie. She met her husband, Elmer Charles Martin while working in the store. They were married on April 28, 1925 at St. Joseph in Erie. She was a homemaker was known for her wonderful baking. She assisted her husband Elmer with farming. She and Elmer lived on a farm on Lakeside Road where they raised produce and chickens. They moved to Erie Road in 1954 when I-75 was built.
Amelia was the mother of Paul Joseph Martin. Grandmother to Barbara Martin (Walter) Berger, Gary Martin, Laura Martin, Karen Martin (Charles) Reau, Larry Martin and Paula Martin (Matthew) Cairns and Great Grandmother to Katelyn and Emily Reau.
She was the sister of Austin (Bernice Shinevar) Kronbach, Fred Kronbach, Leonard (Bernetta Reau) Kronbach, Norma (Arthur) Drouillard and Joseph (Cora Bechtel) Kronbach. Sister-in-law to Fred (Aura Morrin) Martin and Laura Martin(Floyd) Payne.
