Jean was married four times and had six biological children from these unions. On Nov. 30th, 1945 she married Robert William Henderson in Grande Junction, CO. Jean was 14 years old. From this marriage, Robert William Henderson III was born.
At 16 years old, Jean married Thomas Arnold Pittenger on June 8th, 1947 in Fresno, CA. Her other five children where born of this marriage. Thomas Arnold Jr, Linda Jean, Kenneth Ray, Susan Lee and Kathleen Alaine.
Jean divorced Tom on Oct. 26th, 1960 and married William Milton Thomas Feb. 9th, 1961 in Elko, NV. The last names of the five children she had with Tom Pittenger were changed to Thomas.
On Aug. 7th, 1964, she married Martin L. Taylor in Reno, NV. However, Jean was still legally married to William Thomas. Their divorced was not finalized until Nov. 30th, 1964.
Despite claims, no children were born of Jean and Martin. They did raise a granddaughter, after Linda Jean died in a tragic car accident in 1966. And a grandson, whom they took from Susan Lee shortly after he was born.
