Cynthia J. "Cindy" Bucher, 76, of Pillow, passed away Thursday evening, March 23, 2023 at UPMC West Shore, Mechanicsburg.

Born in Carsonville, September 16, 1946, a daughter of the late Lester and Ethel Warfel Bordner. She was a graduate of Camp Hill High School.

Cindy was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania working at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey.

She enjoyed going shopping, listening to country music, but above all else, spending time with her family was most important. In her younger years, she could often be found camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Myron Bordner.

Surviving are her four children, April L. Lebo, Elizabethville, Scott E. Figard, York Haven, Brian L. Figard, Dover, and Donald L. Bucher III, Pillow; fourteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Burial will be in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.
