Lester H. Marino age 67 of Canton, Ohio passed away Friday evening at the home. Born in Dundee, Ohio on June 6, 1935 he was the son of the late, Tom and Jenny Marino. He was a retired barber for the Whipple Barbers where he had worked for the past 40 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had formerly served as a volunteer for the Dundee Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member and usher at the Canton Baptist Temple. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Robert Marino. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife, Goldie 'Faye' Marino of the home to whom he would have been married 49 years on April 18th. Four children, Lou Ann Marino of Canton, Sharon Umberger and husband Brett of Canton, Lester Marino Jr. and wife Heidi of Louisville and Mark Marino of Canton. Seven grandchildren, Matthew Collin, Joshua and John Umberger, Garrett, Max, Lilly and Rocco Marino. Two brothers, Joe Marino of Canton and Tom Marino of Louisville. Two sisters, Marguerite Lutz and Judy Horn both of Louisville. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
