Christine Lamb Wise Grogg

Christine Lamb Grogg, 87, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, in Lexington, SC. She was born in Lake City, SC and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alec B. Lamb.She was predeceased by a son, Mike Wise, and thirteen brothers and sisters. The sisters were: Nellie Wise, Ruth McCutcheon, Lola Belle Livingston, Leona Reeves, and Maude Tuten. Brothers were: Leverne, Foster, Marvin, Fred, Jack, Troy, Murrell, and Levon Lamb. She is survived by her husband, John Grogg, two daughters: Linda Eastland of Bluffton and Sandra Knight of Lexington; two step children, Tanya Grogg-Martell and Dana Grogg of Atlanta, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition, one sister, Dr. Anne L. Matthews of Columbia. Chris was known as a giving person who always placed everyone else's needs above hers. She was a role model lady who personified Southern grace and goodness. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
