Goldie Marie Sprouse, age 74, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 7, 2008 in a Batesville hospital. Born on September 8, 1933 in Banner, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Joe Brackett and Maude Martin Brackett.

She was a homemaker and a member of the New Bethel Church in Floral.

Survivors include three sons, Gerald Sprouse of Pleasant Plains, Roy Sprouse of Hopewell and Randell Sprouse of Malvern; three daughters, Patricia Meek of Desha, Kathy M. Bledsoe of Southside and Goldie Mae Sprouse of Pleasant Plains; one brother, Raymond Brackett of Concord; nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Odell Sprouse; four brothers, Virgil Brackett, Elmer Brackett, Clyde Brackett and Claude Brackett and two sisters, Gertie Clark and Dellar Jenkins.

Services are Tuesday, March 11, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Concord with Randy Altom officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.

Visitation is Monday evening from 5-7 p.m.
