She was born in Allen County on Dec. 22, 1899, to Joseph and Cora May Staup, both now deceased. Mrs. Laman had attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Loudonville and the Loudonville Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Dewey Laman, Whom she married Sept. 19, 1917: one daughter of Loudonville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Frances Laman, in Sept 1922.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm at Byerly Funeral Home, Loudonville.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 am at First Baptist Church, Loudonville. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm at Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions me be made to the First Baptist Church Loudonville, or the Judson Hills Baptist Camp, Loudonville.
