Mrs. Adeline Brasher, 60 years old died suddenly of heart isease (sic) [disease] yesterday afternoon at her home on Lone Elm road at Turkey creek. She had been apparently well 30 minutes before her death which occurred while her son was out doing chores. She is survived by two sons and six daughters; Earnest Brasher and Andrew Brasher, both of Joplin; and the daughters, Mrs. E. Rader, 530 N. Joplin, Mrs. Nora Richardson, Mrs. Mary Farris, Joplin, Mrs. S. Retay and Mrs. Minnie O'Neal of Carthage. The funeral will be at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at 530 N. Joplin street, the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rader.

Funeral services for Mrs. Adeline Brasher, who died at her home (?) the Lone Elm road at Turkey creek were held this morning at 11 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. S. Rader, 430 (sic) [530] North Joplin street. Burial was in Peace cemetery.
