STANTON - Marvin O. Grunwald, 82, of 141 Lakeside Drive, Stanton, died Thursday, April 7, 1994, at his home.
He was born January 15, 1912, in Wyman to parents Otto and Emma Grunwald. He married Margaret I. Petersen on June 15, 1935, in Sheridan.
Mr. Grunwald has been a resident of Stanton since 1970 and was formerly of Lansing where he retired from MacDonald Dairy. He also worked at the Central Montcalm High School and retired from there in 1981. He was a life member of the Pearl Lake Lodge 203 F&AM of Sheridan.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret I. Petersen Grunwald; a daughter and spouse, Margo and William Boerema, Lansing; two grandchildren and their spouses, Shay and David Cooper, Lansing, Brett and Carol Boerema, Cheektowago, NY; two great-grandchildren and their spouses, Danielle and Tyler Cooper, Kelsey and Paul Boerema; two brothers and their wives, Bernard and Freda Grunwald, Stanton, Hans Louis and Jean Grunwald, Georgia.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Grunwald residence. At the request of the family, there will be no funeral service held. Cremation has already taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Montcalm Public School Foundation, P.O. Box 186, Sidney, MI 48885.
