Mrs. Mary May Tracey [sic], 69, life-long resident of Tacoma, two miles east of here, died Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at her home there. She was a daughter of John and Mary Giesey Shuman. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Clara Leffler, Barnesville; Mrs. Dorothy Morris and Ollie Tracey [sic], Tacoma; Howard Tracey [sic], Canton, and Harvey and James Tracey [sic], Bethesda. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Fitzgerald and Mrs. Philamena Jewell, Barnesville; two brothers, Francis Shuman and Aladine Shuman, Barnesville; two half-sisters, two half brothers and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, J. C. Tracey [sic], died three years ago. Three daughters and two sons preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Morristown Methodist Church. Burial will be made in the Morristown Cemetery. The body was taken to the Sells funeral home in Hendrysburg where it will remain until time for the funeral.
