He was born March 31, 1947, in Dade City to Clifford Marion & Lennie Bell Davenport. He was a retired Lieutenant from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the F.O.P., a life member of the N.R.A., and a 23-year member of the Trilby Lodge 141 F.&A.M.
Donald is survived by his wife of 41 years: Vivian Davenport; 5 children: Pat Slape (Jim), Mike Davenport, Adam Davenport, Randy Davenport (Alison), Drew Davenport (Nancy); brother: Jack Davenport; sister: Janette Hatfield (Bob); 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 7:00 pm Thursday evening, March 30th, 2023, at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends for viewing two hours prior to service time (5:00 - 7:00pm). Interment will take place 10:00 am Friday, March 31st, 2023, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
