Wm. Hayward McEllhiney, 95, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Gibson General Hospital after being surrounded by friends and family members.

He was born July 28, 1918, in Princeton to Robert and Marada (Bell) McEllhiney. He was a lifelong farmer with an avid interest in aviation as a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Janet Robinson of Princeton and Kay (Ronald) Parke of Oakland City; four grandchildren Matthew Luecking, Eric (Cara) Luecking, Adam (Kendra) Parke and Alissa (Nathan) Tooley and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, in 1998 and companion, Ruby Rumble, in 2011.

Visitation will be held at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton on Tuesday, September 10, where friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Family and friends will go in procession to Fairview Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Wilbert officiating.
