His military record states that he was born in Tiverton, R.I., and died Oct. 1, 1835 in his 73rd year; placed on pension roll in Cayuga County Sept. 24, 1832, for services as Private and Corporal in Connecticut Continental Line. His wife, Hannah Sandy died May, 1850, aged 83 years. 5 months, 16 days. She received a pension after his death.
His wife Hannah resided with her daughter Hannah (Lake) Sawyer and her husband George from 1835 to 1850 in Sempronius.
