Hal Wayne Sampson, age 60 of Clayton, Oklahoma passed away from this life on March 19th, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Hal was born on February 20th, 1962 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Clara Sue (Sampson) and George Armstrong. He enjoyed ranching, bailing hay, messing with cows and just about anything to do with working on a farm. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Hal will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Hal is survived by his children, Kinsey Sampson of Ada, Ashley Sampson of Ada, Hal Sampson Jr. and wife Jessie of Clayton, Jessica Sampson of Clayton, Stephen Turner Sampson and wife Desmine of Yukon, Daniel Asch and wife Whitney of Clayton; three granddaughters; 6 grandsons; one great granddaughter; one sister, Rebecca McKinzie and husband Ed of CoCo Beach, FL; one aunt, Toni Cody of Antlers, and one special cousin, Michelle Shoemake of Ada; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Hal is preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Thomas Davis.

Graveside services will be on Monday March 27th, 2023 at 2:00PM at AL Stephens Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
