Hattie Wray Yeatts, 91, passed away March 4, 2008, in Roanoke, VA. She was the daughter of the late John P. Wray & Mataldia Anne Wray of Martinsville, VA. She is survived by three sons, David Wayne Yeatts & wife, Brenda, Dennis Paul Yeatts & wife, Kathy, both of Vinton, and Aubrey Newton Yeatts Jr. (Skip) & wife, Debbie, of Roanoke County; six grandsons, Walter Newton Yeatts, of Vinton, Devin Yeatts, of Roanoke, Anthony Yeatts, of Chambersburg, PA, Jason Yeatts & his wife, Tess, of Knoxville, TN, Chad Yeatts, of Radford, and Ryan Yeatts, of Roanoke; one granddaughter, Shikara Cerak & husband, Joe, of Crewe, VA; three great-grandsons, Darien, Ryland and Ethan; and two great-granddaughters, Katerina and Abigail. She is survived by a sister, Isabell W. Toler, of Martinsville, VA. Hattie was a member of Melrose Baptist Church and a faithful member of the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World for 50 years. She was a charter member of Court 462 and was its Secretary for 25 years. She was a member of the Ladies degree team for many years. Funeral to be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008, at the funeral home. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Mom's caregivers, Shelia, Michelle, Theresa, Carrie and Betty. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, VA.
