Barbara Faye Wallen, 81, of Anderson, passed away on March 18, 2023, at her daughter's home surrounded by family. Barbara was born on December 1, 1941, in Tennessee. -Barbara graduated from Alivn C. York Agriculture Institute, Jamestown, Tennessee, and attended Anderson Business College, and took courses at Indiana University. -She retired as an office manager for Dr. Paul Vandorn DDS. -She loved sports, especially softball, and basketball. Her family was her pride and joy. -Barbara is survived by her daughter, Gigi (Dean) Broshar; grandchildren, Courtney (Josh) Irelan and Josh Broshar. Barbara had several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. -She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Wallen, and parents, Barlow and Lillian Boles.
Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. -Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
