Abigail Spink (1704-1791) was the daughter of Nicholas Spink (1690-1733) and Abigail ?, of North Kingstown, Washington Couunty, Rhode Island. She was born about 1704 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. She married Nathan Pearce (1705-1791) October 8, 1714, in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.

Abigail and Nathan had eight children:
Sarah Pearce (1725-?)
Abigail Pearce (1727-1789)
Ephraim Pearce 1733-1816)
Susannah Pearce (1736-1819)
Margaret Pearce (1738-1778)
Nathan Pearce, Jr (1740-1781)
Phebe Pearce (1743-1822)
William Pearce (1745-1813)

Abigail's husband kept a diary. When he passed away, his son William Pearce kept the diary and added to it. When William passed away his nephew, Nathaniel Pearce, kept the diary and added to it. The diary is called "The
Pearce Journal" and is now in the Akin Public Free Library, Quaker Hill, Pawling, Dutchess County, New York.

The following is an entry in the Pearce Journal:
"Death - My Honored Mother Abigail Pearce departed this life January the 7 A.D. 1791, on Fryday at Sunset in the 87 year of her age." The death date indicates a birth year of about 1704.
