youngest daughter of Ralph Crume Sr. and Mary 'Polly' Riggs b. between 1785-1792 and d. after 1850; married Thomas Pile 10 March 1812, Breckinridge Co. KY and after he died she remarried to widower James Ruckman 10 April 1832 in Vermilion Co. IL; mother of 3 sons and a daughter according to the 1820 census.

p. 67 - "The Ralph Crume children, each head of his or her own family were...Mary Crume Pile (later Ruch(k)man and Thomas Pile....All of the children except the youngest one, John, were born in Virginia and four of the children were married in Nelson or Washington Co. KY."
p78 - "Mary 'Polly' Crume, Ralph Sr.'s daughter first married Thomas Pile in 1812, and after his death married a second time to James Ruch(k)man. The Ruch(k)mans sold their portion of Ralph Sr.'s estate and moved to Vermilion County, Illinois, around 1842..."
p.302 "6. Mary 'Polly' Crume Born around 1785, Died after 1850
