Mrs. Henry R. Loven, 80, a Glenwood township [Winneshiek county, IA] housewife, died March 10 at Elmhurst, IL. Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday, March 14) at 2pm at the Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Olaf O. Brandt will officiate, & pallbearers will be John Loven, Joel Loven, Willard Orvella, John Aschbacker, Arnold Dahlen, & Donald Sorenson.
Miss Carolyn Kcamme will be the organist for hymns sung by the congregation. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Steine Funeral Home.
Mrs. Loven is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Lloyd Loven of Dallas, TX & Orval Loven of Peterson, MN; a daughter Mrs. Donald Vivian Niemann of Elmhurst, IL; 12 grandchildren; 1 brother, Milford Hendrickson of Waukon; & a sister, Mrs. Perdy Blegen of Glenwood township.
She was preceded in death by a sister & her parents. Martin & Andrine Hendrickson.
Mrs. Loven (Clarisse B. Hendrickson) was born October 23, 1893 in Winneshiek county where she had lived most of her life. She attended rural schools & Sioux Falls Norman Schools. She was married May 30, 1917 in ceremonies at the Glenwood Parsonage & was a member of Glenwood Lutheran Church & the ALCW.
