March 10, 2023, age 80. Predeceased by his son, Charles J. "CJ" Alger and his granddaughter, Jessica Klahn. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Alger; his daughters, Kari Alger and Kim (Michael) Piccolo; grandchildren, Nick Alger, Coden Alger, Shealin Alger, Michael Piccolo, Marc Piccolo, Jason Pool, Aaron Alger & Jonathan Alger. Also predeceased by his brothers and sister. Chuck was a Veteran of the US Navy. He worked at Rochester Products for 30 years. He loved bowling, hunting, boating, and watching Nascar, He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He also enjoyed going to car shows with his 1957 Pontiac Star Chief and hanging out with friends and family. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 17th from 4 - 7 pm at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue in Hilton where Chuck's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 10 am. Interment in Millville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd., Suite 110, Rochester NY 14618 in memory of Charles. The family would like to extend their special thanks to the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for the wonderful care Chuck received.
