Death Takes Mary E. Fisher (The Times-Mail: Bedford, Indiana):
Death came at 7:45 this morning to Mary E. Fisher at the Stancomb Nursing Home southeast of Bedford after an illness of three months. She had been in failing health for two years.
She was born December 29, 1873, in Greene County, the daughter of Abraham Fisher and Hannah Davis. She was united in marriage to Solomon Greer in 1893, who preceded her in death 26 years ago.
Surviving are one son, Howard Greer of Paducah, KY., formerly of Bedford; and three grandchildren, Bettey Covey of CA, Joan Greer, and Jack Greer, both of Bedford. Two brothers, Sherman Fisher, and James Fisher have preceded her in death.
Funeral services were conducted at the Sherwood and Ferguson Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Kern Officiating. Burial in Beech Grove Cemetery.
