James Wilson Justice, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away at 6:02 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Baton Rouge Medical Center-Bluebonnet. He was 79, a native of Gooding, Idaho, and a resident of Watson. He was a retired civil engineer, the founder of Justice and Huang Engineers in Baton Rouge, and a member of many professional organizations including American Society of Civil Engineers and Louisiana Engineering Society. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army's 11th Airborne Division during the Korean War. Visitation at Live Oak United Methodist Church in Watson on Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. until religious services at noon, conducted by Dr. Mark Crosby and the Rev. Tommy Bergeron. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol Underwood Justice; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Scott Sutton, and Jill and Joel Rushing; a son, William Howard Justice and wife Amy; two sisters, Margaret Hoff, and Billie Johnston and husband Ray; a brother, Perry Justice; grandchildren, Drew and Dan Sutton, Travis and Molly Rushing, Maggie and Sam Justice; sister-in-law, Lorie Justice; brother-in-law, Art Swoboda. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur W. and Frances Stephens Justice; brother, Leonard Justice; sister, Eleanor Swoboda. Pallbearers will be, Drew, Dan and Scott Sutton, Sam Justice, Joel and Travis Rushing. Honorary pallbearers are Peano Rushing, Leon Kinchen, Bob Morrison, Bob Walner, Bruce Roberts, Andy Huang and Ernie's Sunday School Class. As a member of Live Oak United Methodist Church, he lived his faith in Jesus Christ before his family and friends, sang in the choir for 51 years and loved his Sunday School Class.
