The Two Henrietta Goetz
There were TWO Henrietta Goetz who lived in Los Angeles County in the early 1900's. One was Henrietta WOTTRING Goetz of OHIO born 1842 wife of Christain Goetz. The other was Henrietta TELLA Geotz of GERMANY born 1833 wife of Lugwig Geotz. They both died in 1912. WOTTRING in Feb and TELLA in April. Henrietta WOTTRING has mistakenly been given the wrong birth date and linked to the wrong husbands, WIlliam Riggert and Lugwig Geotz. Henrietta WOTTRING was born on 11 Dec 1842 and is buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Los Angeles, California, next to her husband, Christian Geotz, and her grandson, Raymond Summerl. Henrietta TELLA was born on 28 April 1833 and is buried next to her daughter Mrs. Mary Thayer at Inglewood Cemetery (see attached photo). Henrietta TELLA is the one who should be linked to William and Lugwig. See attached obituary and death certificate for authentication. I have sent edits to the owner of the Glendale page to change Henriett's birth date and surname from TELLA to WOTTRING. I have also reached out to Find a Grave Volunteer Old Historian Buff, volunteer # 46810464, to remove Henrietta WOTTRING from William and Lugwig's pages as well.
