He was born on June 23, 1932 in Keokuk, IA to Irven Charles and Gladys A. ( Watkins) Clemenson.
He married Delores M. Lecocq on March 9, 1951 in Pocahontas, AR. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Deanna Labuga.
Don is survived by one daughter, Debra (Don) Haedicke of East Peoria, and one son, Daryl (Mary) Clemenson of Chillicothe.
Don worked as a Planner for Caterpillar until retiring in 1987. In his spare time he was an avid golfer and enjoyed volunteering as an escort at UnityPoint Health Methodist for 20 years. Don also owned his own tax preparation business for many years. During his sons youth he enjoyed being a baseball coach for 6 years.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
