Mrs. E. Jane Bollinger, widow of Eli Bollinger, died at her home in Union township, near Sell's Station, on Saturday morning following a sickness of dropsy and Bright's disease. She was aged 74 years.
She was born in Union township and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel P. Young. In 1863 she was married to Mr. Bollinger, who died eight years ago.
She leaves one son, John C. Bollinger, Union township, two daughters, Mrs. George Panebaker, of Westminster, and Mrs. E.J. Geiselman of Hanover, also twelve grandchildren, two brothers. Charles Young of Fountain Dale, and John Young of Bellair, and two sisters. Mrs. Charles Althoff of Hanover and Miss Sallie Young of Harrisburg.
Three grandsons who survive, now in the United States service, are Marion Geiselman, "Somewhere in France". and Ellis Geisleman, "Somewhere on the Atlantic". and James A. Bollinger of Compnay A. 316th Regiment. Camp Meade.
Funeral this afternoon with services from her late home at one o'clock by her pastor, the Rev. Milton E. Whitener of Redeemer's Reformed church, Littletown. Interment: in the family lot in Christ Reformed church cemetery.
