William Raymond Cantrell

Services for William Raymond Cantrell, 81, of Green Forest, were September 17 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Green Forest with Mr. John Stuckey and Mr. Joel Lewis officiating. Burial was in the Pickens Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

Mr. Cantrell, the son of George Solomon and Jennie (Haughn) Cantrell, was born January 7, 1909 in Elizabeth, AR and died September 14 in Berryville, AR.

He was a car salesman for many years at Ozarks Motors in Berryville. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Green Forest and a one time member of the Green Forest Lion's Club.

On November 7, 1932, he was united in marriage with Wilma (Rand) Cantrell who survives him. He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, George and Linda Cantrell of Berryville; three daughters Doris Stuckey and her husband, John of Green Forest, Juanita Sumrall and her husband Don of Berryville, and Mary Cantrell of Green Forest; one sister, Gratice Richardson of Elizabeth, AR; five grandchildren, Vickie Drain, Debbie Stuckey, Donna Henderson, Scott Cantrell, and Tracie Cantrell; three great-grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bert Cantrell and three sisters, Laura Young, Esta Stephens and Lettie Rand.
