James O. Dixon, Resident of Oak Ridge, Dies

James O. Dixon, well known citizen of the Oak Ridge community passed away at his home this morning at 8 o'clock. The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Martha A. Dixon, three daughters, Mrs. J.M. Broussard and Mrs. Golena Dixon of Baton Rouge, LA., and Mrs. Oscar Southall of Lumberton, Miss.: six sons, Luther, Kenneth, Jim, Maurice, Chester and Victor, all of Oak Ridge; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Dixon leaves a host of sorrowing friends, having long been and outstanding citizen of Oak Ridge. The funeral will take place at 6 O'clock this afternoon from the saddened home.
