She had worked for True Loves Pool Hall off and on for 15 years, True Loves Car Wash part time for ten years and Oliver's Pub for two years. She was also secretary at the State Insurance Commissioners Department in Oklahoma City.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Grooms was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by one son, Charles "Bo" Dewayne Grooms of Oklahoma City, her mother and stepfather, Forestena and Donnie Shipman of Moore and one sister, Ann Sober of White Hall, Pennsylvania.
Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Little Cemetery with Gary Gregg officiating. Burial is under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.
