Fred came to US in 1883. Ship Gellert, arriving 24 Jul 1883. His brothers Adolph & Christian also came over, as well as their uncle Frederick and his family. His mother and 3 older siblings remained in Oberboihingen and a younger brother died as an infant in 1878.
