Mrs. Alva Belle Bond, aged 82, of Benton, wife of Claude Bond, died Sunday. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Other survivors are two sons, Lewis and Herman Hawkins, both of Benton; four brothers, A. L. and Leonard Baxley, both of Little Rock, J. B. Baxley of Benton, and Rev. Bryand [Bryan] Baxley of Bauxite; three sisters, Mrs. Bill Lowe and Mrs. B. T. Patten, both of Benton, and Mrs. Graves Greer of Texarkana; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
