Eugene Patrick Abbott, seven-year-old son of Mr. Raymond and Mrs. Patricia Abbott of Grand Prairie, Texas, formerly of the Sardis community, died Friday, August 10, 1979. Other survivers include one half-sister, Pamela Chaplin of the home; three half-brothers, Scott Chaplin of San Francisco, California, and Raymond Abbott and Bill Abbott of Mabelvale; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Mullings of the Vimy Ridge community; and Mrs. Kathryn Gendville of Romeoville, Illinois.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today, Saturday, August 13, 1979 at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Vimy Ridge. Burial Will follow at Butler Cemetery in Vimy Ridge by North Little Rock Funeral Service.

On Friday, August 5 1979, Eugene was struck by a car while crossing the highway. Eugene death was related to an auto-pedestrian accident. Which He later died at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Texas from massive diffuse cerebral contusion with intracerebral hemorrhage.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today, Saturday, August 13, 1979 at the Immanuel Baptist Church of Vimy Ridge. Burial Will follow at Butler Cemetery in Vimy Ridge by North Little Rock Funeral Service.
